The next day it rained some. This is the clouds blowing in.
Wet sheep!Wet Margaret!The wind blown sand had made some neat designsThis is Wharariki Beach. Supposed to be a pristine beach with seals and stuff but we could hardly see anything due to sand and salt pelting us! Cool experience just the same!

Picnic time - sardines anyone?We found out that lupins are not native to New Zealand. They are actually crowding out native plants. They are so pretty though!Only for dad would I put my feet my feet in glacier water! I think this was Lake TekapoAnd this is Lake Pukaki. If it wasn't for the clouds on the other end, we should have been able to see Mt. Cook.My amazing tour guide, hiking partner, fellow foodie, and all around best friend!
