Well, here it is almost June, and I'm just sharing the rest of our April with you. Life has been just a tad on the crazy side as you will see next month!

This tree was dead and had to come down. It was very interesting watching them cut it down. I knew they have to do it this way, but it was the first time I think I've watched.[/caption]

Another batch of granola bars![/caption]

We had been talking about redoing our closet for some time and finally got an organizing set and did it![/caption]

This is what it looked like in the process! But notice the rack in the far corner. That had been there since soon after we got married.[/caption]

This is the set up we went with. Of course looks a little different now with all the clothes in![/caption]

One evening Austin grilled hamburgers and Sarah Beth did all the fixings. Twas delicious - Good job![/caption]

We enjoyed a little outing to school one evening to play catch![/caption]

One Monday that Matthew had off, we tried out the roof rack and took the kayak to Morro Bay! We had a blast and great work out paddling almost all the way to the end of the bay and back! Such a beautiful morning.[/caption]

Sorry about the no rotation! This is in memory of Emily Reyes (#356 in this pic at the Paso Half) of last fall's GYA class. She was killed riding with a drunk driver. Please, don't drink and drive. And please, don't ride with people who are drunk![/caption]

Baked oatmeal! With milage increasing for the half marathon, I was glad to rediscover baked oatmeal as a healthy way to get in more calories.[/caption]

I noticed this one Saturday morning while Matthew was making us breakfast. Though it was kinda neat.[/caption]

Cal Poly vs. UCSB My first time to a baseball game! Quite interesting trying to figure out what all was going on. Matthew kept laughing at me because I like to cheer for all the good plays no matter who makes them! I'm not very loyal I guess... sorry CP[/caption]

Finally out for a hike again! Always love hiking Valencia Peak in Montana de Oro. When we walked up to the edge here and looked out over the back valley, I seriously caught my breath and my eyes started to water. The rugged, sweeping beauty of those hills is pretty magnificent. And it is just such a small portion of God's creation!

Don't remember if this dog's name was Miranda or Matilda, or some other M name, but she was really sweet and has since gotten a home! YAY! And whenever you see the dog sitting in the front seat, it is because that's where they want to be. I always put them in the back with the seat covered![/caption]

Little miss Hailey with her sunglasses and purse and phone! I can't believe how fast she is growing up and how smart she is! She says everyone's names, (Na'ma for Grandma!) and spoon and fork and knife and so many more.[/caption]
